Heaton. I loved the scripted logo.

Other logos I miss are the old CanStar Cooper one and the Vortex V.

As far as gear lines, just Heaton. Back in the day, you weren't anyone if you ddin't have a Wave blocker and Pro90z pads!

Just a little update:

The gentleman who owned and made Forrester gear is now a lead developer for Nike-Bauer. So I don't really think you can really "miss" Forrester since he's had a hand in designing everything Nike-Bauer has currently produced.

As for Aeroflex...look at every flat faced pad that's come out since the Vaugn Velocity and you can clearly see thier just the successors to the Aeroflex (just more evolved versions).

Vic gear was first developed by Pete Smith (who of course, still makes great custom gear today). Later, is was developed (and ultimately ended with) McMartin. I don't know if McMartin is still involved with Goalie Gear at all.

As for Bayard gear...I admit, it was a bit ahead of it's time. Thier high end pad, along with the Adams Odyssey line, were cleary 5 steps ahead of everyone else.

And he comes on here every once in a great while...

I would like to have seen Jofa continue making pads. I still have an old pair of Jofa 600s -- nice traditional leather and deer hair, and about 8 pounds each (or so it seemed.)

Although I have never owned or have worn one, I would have liked an armadilla mask.

I miss Litespeed gear like a muthafotha. My pads are getting to the point that I know they won't last more than a few years, and I can't exactly order another set.

I would in a heartbeat, however I paid Sean for a glove about a year ago and haven't seen anything from him yet, except for emails saying he's going to build it... soon.

The old brands I wish I could have tried.

The original DR Quantum line.
Lightspeed line always intruiged me.
Kay and Aeroflex pads.
The Vaughn 5500 blocker with the side roll.

I always ended up using the most available stuff of its time Cooper and don't realy miss any of it.

The good ole days...

I had two pairs of Barasso's Pro return Vic pads back in the day. I loved them. Super light and flexible. I saw a pair on Ebay not long ago. They went for like $75 bucks! In great shape too! Man I should have bought them! Also the Cooper GM PRO glove and blocker were my all time fav. In 1997 I bought 3 blockers and 2 catch gloves ( though they were the GM 1000 then) on closeout for like $240 total. Loved those friggin gloves. Best blocker palm ever
