Kind of a late reply but try bringing your blocker in closer and tighter and bring it up higher so you don't get the 9-iron effect.

Do all Vaughns pull up rite in wear your butterfly seal is?

Ive seen multiple goalies on hear with that problem

uhh... actually you should have your gloves lower to seal the gap between our pads and gloves. and your gloves should be square to the shooter.

I do agree that my gloves should be more square but I don't agree that my glove should be lower. Obviously when a shot comes lower I will put it down, but when you have your glove like that you have more explosiveness to catch the puck. I don't know how to explain it better but I like it how it is. Thanks for the advice though

Its all in relation to the puck. You dont keeep ur gloves low at the nlue line cause they'll go roof, and if you keep 'em high when plays in tight you give up holes. So umless we aregetting action pictures there is very little you can critique with hand positioning.

I was just wondering what paddle height i should have, i am 510'-511' and am using a 26' paddle is that alright or should i change

Im 5'5" and I use a 26 3/4 paddle. I know its a little big but it has been working for me. I'd say its personal preference
