Tighten up the gap between your blocker arm and body. Also, I would recommend keeping your glove square to the shooter (harder to do when the shooter has a camera not a puck).

I think about this often but I find by slouching or as I think of it as leaning back a little, it helps me to have a wider butterfly. I think I need to just mess around with it a little to find where I can be more upright as well as comfortable.

Nice butterflies all-around.

Some things I've noticed are some goalies tend to keep their gloves too tight to their body and some also have a hunch in their backs when they are in bfly position.

I would really advise against leaning back. I was talking to an older goalie (a guy in his 40's with a pile of Jr. experience) about a different goalies butterfly. This guy said that when you're in you're in your bfly you shouldn't be leaning back because you don't have much range for pouncing on rebounds. If you're leaning back you have to transfer your weight to the front and then pounce.

Top corner, or inside blocker side.

Ive always been told that if your leaning back in your bfly then your off balance, thus not allowing you to do what you said.

Not the best, but it's an action shot in practice. Kinda a funny angle the pic was taken from. I think the puck is in my pants/knees at that point.

2nd one I am Blfy sliding (crawling) across, so not fully a bfly pic.

Yup, they're pro-returns too, which was kinda nice as they have under-pant thighboards/wraps, all leather straps, different channel setup, etc.

They definitely rotate and seal the 5-hole pretty nice, and with being a snugger fit than most guys seem to go w/ compared to say RBK PI's or PII's (no strap except the boot and top stap are overly loose).

Pads in the house

Are you wearing your skates under your pads?

If so, are you wearing a skate guard? What kind?
