theres always that retarded kid on the roller hockey team ! j/k most roller kids dont tie their skates that tight so thats why that happens. it seems to be common here with those kids, the funny thing is they do it on the ice and it isnt the same so they get confused.

You look very smooth and comfortable in those drills. What level do you play?

You're good. One thing though, on some of the shots it seemed you went down to early. So just watch that. You look really smooth man.

if a shot is coming from that close, you dont have enough time to react to the shot so your best bet is going down. That is of course if you know the shot is coming. The net is wider than it is tall...gonna cover more net going down.

True but unless you're well over 6' tall it's easy to get beat high by guessing. On the first few drills were they take slapshots from that close obviously go down and block it because you have no time to react. A few of the other drills though were wrist shots and snap shots from a bit farther out where he got beat high once or twice- in this case like I said if you're not a giant it helps to try and be patient and get to the puck as quickly as possible when it's shot.

Nice vid.

Really now. Hmm. I was taught differently but alright. I don't see the point of going down early when he can just go right around you if that makes sense.

Because once you go down he has the option to A) Shoot or he could just deke around you because he saw you went down. To each his own.
