So I have question. When do you guys commit to the bfly? I only use the position like this one above when the puck is at very close range, like a scramble in front of the net. But if I use this stance when the shooter has an open shot between the circles, he has tons of net to hit. If I do go to the bfly when there is an open shot from far out, I keep my hands alot higher, because I have more time to get them down.
I guess my thinking goes: if there is not a open shot, the puck will likely get wacked toward the net low, and the bfly is in order. If he has the puck and has time, you might wana keep the hands up, cause thats to much net to cover up after he releases the shot.
