That isn't the same graphic Ward used. It's similar but not the same.

The Ward one looks to be the initial concept.

Guys I'm a graphic designer. Like I said you can tell the Ward graphic was the basis, it's not the exact same. There have been changes made to it and it's placement on the pad.

I love what qualifies as old and busted today. Barely a few puck marks and it is time for new pads. From the readings I have done here, hand stuffed pads shrink more than the sheet foam pads that are prevalent today.

I just measured my stock 13 year old 36" VPG 3000's they are 35 3/4"

I then measured my custom 6 year old 38" VPG 5500's and they are 38"

I am hard on my pads, and they are flexible and s-curved and in a decade and a half they have seen more rubber than two months in the NHL. Methinks there is more to this story then a new identical set of pads.

This is the only thing that worries me. I'm planning on getting a set of PIIs soon, but I'd hate to get them only to have PIIIs come out 3 months later. I have enough sets of pads that I can wait.

Isn't RBK on a two year rotation? If so, that would give us another year of PSIIs before the switch.

Doesn't look like the Cam Ward graphic to me.

Sorry, made a mistake.

I couldn't find the picture, so I couldn't compare.

Once again, good observation, I notice it now that there is a picture.

I just knew that Ward had a graphic that I thought was the same...but I was now proved wrong by what, two other people before you?

Nicest V3 graphic I've seen.

It really is shocking that the pads shrink that much. I know they shrink, I know it's been mentioned numerous times but wow...that photo really shows a significant amount of settling.
YUP....they could shrink that much. Mine did at least. Others haven't had this happen at all. It has not as much to do with the thighrise being bent as it does with the pad actually shrinking or settling, especially at the lower shin, boot area where the Hd shred stuffing is more prominent. Basically, my 35+2 set went down to a 34+1 or 1.5" set. Next set I order will have to be a 36 +1 to keep it's size the same for me after a few months.
