Stick Advice

I am looking to switch up my stick. I am currently using a Koho 590. I am not a fan. Looking for something a little lighter. The size would be 26". I currently just play in a beer league so I am not looking to spend mucho dineiro... around the $60-$70 price. Something midrange. Any suggestions?

Also, I have never been able to play the puck well. My technique is off somewhere. Theres times where I'll come out and play the puck only to see a winger coming in on me. At that point I'' cover the puck. I know its hard to describe technique through typing but any thoughts?

There's a ton of information already on the board about puck handling. The "search" feature is a good thing. Use it!!

The main reason of this thread was recommendations on sticks in the $60-$70 range. Thats why I put it in the equipment arena. The playing of the puck was just a side note incase anyone had some technique / practice methods.

Best advice on sticks is to check out your local hockey shops and your local pro shops at the rinks. I've also checked out other goalie's sticks to see what I might like or not like.

I'm not sure what the current pricing is, but last time I ordered 3 custom Christian sticks, they were $70 each, and you can specify your own colors, curve and paddle height.

Just a thought there!
