My first new mask, Pro's Choice Vapor!

Everyone,
I couldnt be happier. I never owned a new mask, this is my first. Its a full custom Pro's Choice Vapor. I sent Dom my head mold and Dom treated me like a NHL superstar every step of the way.
First off.. everyone needs to know what a true asset to the board and goalie community Dom is. He worked with me (married with children) So that i could own my dream mask.

I was honored that Dom would even give me the time of day. This guy does the mask for NHL guys.. He doesnt need to talk to a 40yr old Senior A goalie.
But he did and he never spoke down to me. He talked to me like he had no other clients to tend to but me.

The mask arrived today, i only saw it for about 10 mins before i had to head out to the rink.
So it was little loose due to the straps not being adjusted which i fixed between the first and second period of tonights game.

The mask fits like a glove. Just perfect. I went with V ear holes, and Dom added the sling instead of the cup. and of course resisting the unknown i asked for a cup as well.. But now that i have used the sling i will probably never try the cup.

The sling holds your chin pefectly. I like it alot. The mask is light and feels balanced. The foam is blue crocs foam and feels soft and nice. and looks good too.

One of the best parts of the mask for me is Dom's autograph on it.
Its like buying a painting and seeing the artist's name in the bottom corner.
It is just something very special.

So, my top few things i like:

The sling
the foam
the earholes
the autograph
The color came out great.
The sweatband

And it arrived in a nice new mask bag. I'm as happy as kid on Christmas morning.

So needless to say, if you want to be treated like you just signed a NHL contract.
Call Dom, his knowledge and service as well being on heck of nice guy is simply
outstanding.

I whole heartedly agree.

Congratulations on the new mask Jim. I finally got a chance to use my new "Ironman" Vapor Wed night and I loved it. Liike you I had the sling installed but asked Dom for the strap and cup to be included as well. Couldn't be happier with the sling. Works great!

I have been getting really lucky on ebay and the classifieds right here on the board...
As far as the Vapor goes.. simply call Dom.

I think Dom's reputation is well documented on this forum- an absolute outstanding guy who knows how to run a business and how to treat his customers. On top of that, he has an absolute incredible product.. put the two together, and you can't go wrong. Anyone looking at a high end mask should price out everything else, then give him a call and see what he can do... you may be close in price and have the custom fit you won't get elsewhere.

I just purchased my second Vapor mask from Dom, it should be here next week... I was so impressed with my first mask and how Dom handled everything, that it was a no brainer ordering from him again.

I like to have a backup pair of everything, and usually I just keep my last set of gear.. but that wasn't possible with the mask. On top of that I really wanted to go back to my older style paint with some updates, and it turned out absolutely incredible thanks to Ron Slater.

And yes, I realize I'm a lucky SOB to have 2 Vapors

Oh, anyone else notice the Tuukka Vapor mask they've been showing on Versus in their sports commercial? Vapor painted by Slater, it looks smokin'! No mistaking Dom's center cage bar, either....

Not be a dick but I don't really get this as everyone that seems to get a Vapor says to call Dom which makes me think the advertised price doesn't mean anything.

It is so everyone feels like they are getting a good deal??

I am pretty sure he makes a great mask and almost everyone that gets one has said they love it but I don't undrestand having a list price if it isn't the real price.

Huntster...Not sure if Dom has a advertised price list. What's wrong with a guy that tries to work with the customer? That's why we say call Dom! He tries to make it work for you.
