Jukka, do you have any videos of your camps? I'd love to see what is going on there.

And if you look at the fourth picture down (I won't hot-link the image here) you will be able to see the elusive, but much sought after, white and black goalie skates.

Nice job in the shootout comp yesterday Andrew !

Hey Rob, I didn't see you there last weekend. Do you have anymore pictures from the tournament?
Thats not David McKee, It's Mike Monk. McKee was supposed to play originally but wasn't there.
It was a decent little tournament. I was on the weakest team there and we didn't win a game but I faced a lot of rubber in those games so it was great.

damn.... I was told by a guy up front that was him.... I doubted him as it didnt look like him from the pics of his face I had seen.... I don't have any other pics... as I was there for about 20 mins watching the skills comp and then had to leave.... sorry man, glad you got some shots out of it though. that is the main thing.... it gave you a chance to work with some decent shooters which I know you looked great in the shootout. I saw the goalie drill where you shoot the puck from one end to the other goal .... I thought that looked fun.

My buddy Dan Dunn (Caps 6th round draft pick this year and freshman at St Cloud this season) showed up up at the Caps rookie camp in Vaughn Velo demo gear. He will be in either Vaughn or RBK PS2 gear upcoming season.

From the pics it looks like Helenius' pads don't have the tapered thigh or the angled inner gusset. I could be wrong but they definitely look less angled than the others I have seen.

Toivonen tested standard Thief (in the photo) last summer and helenius just got those pads on the photo 2 weeks ago from me. They are not standard thief, they are customized to his specs + changes we get done to the leg channel (totally different from Thief) for all Thiefs sold in Finland. mainly for better pad control and to work with the style we teach to our goalies.

I'm a little late here, but Jonathan Bernier and Jeff Zatkoff are both wearing new pads, but with the colors of their old teams.

Now, I would understand that because I think Bernier can still play on his old team, but Zatkoff is no longer eligible to play for Miami University and no King's minor league teams have those colors. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe in the Frozen Four last season, he was playing with PS1's, which means he just got these for this NHL season.
