After last night, I doubt that'll happen. Price is good but Huet will be the starter until he completely loses his game.

Price will be a great goalie in the future, but I just can't stand the lack of respect they're showing for Huet. Huet would have all the rights to complain, but he doesn't. He'll be in nets for the playoffs for sure though.

Kovalev has been great for the habs, but there are a lot of players who deserve the nod over him.
Malkin, Ovechkin, Thornton, Thomas, Lidstrom, Luongo, and Kovalchuk are just a few who have been more valuable.

You are lucky in Montreal to have Price as an upcoming star. He can be the new "Roy". He is born to be a goalie.

They need to be careful with Price so that he doesnt become another "too much too soon" story like Fleury.

Carey Price
Carey Price is not going to be the goalie that every thinks/wants him to be. I bet that he'll come down with some sort of Cloutier-esque chronic injury.

mmmmmmmm...... Why?
His technic is alreay top notch and he's only 20. His stickhandling is good and he's only 20. He still has 4 or 5 years before being ready to have all the pressure by himself, maybe sooner.

Seems like an ignorant thing to say. Have you seen him play? He's one of the most technically sound goalies in the NHL, has the poise and confidence of a veteran and doesn't get rattled. I dont know, seems like a perplexing pick if you're gonna try and call a bust.

I think i understand where he is coming from I just think that you shouldn't put alot of faith into him so early into his career, you never know what will happen with a player in the NHL, let alone a goalie. I've watched Price for a while now and he lives up to what everyone says about him talent wise. Time will tell if he will become of the potential he has.

Call the guy a bust if you want but I hate it when people wish injury on players, thats just wrong
