That is a Mason set from last year and the knee gusset design of that pad is from the original design of the Fusion. This is not new for Eagle, it is in fact an old design by them.

IDK why this is getting so over analyized. Its just a Vaughn V1 "Kipper specs" with the logo taken off. Kari Letonen's glove from earlier this season was the same, Vaughn with no logo on the cuff.
Vaughn's logos are heat transfers and over time at least through my experience the logos start to peel off. I have a blocker with no logo anymore cause of it. and my friend has had two sets of V2's and the side roll logos peeled off after a few months. You can also see the logo starting to peel off on Letonen's blocker on the "N" and the "H"

So why would they have it taken off just the glove and not the pads or blocker too?
Just looks weird.

Because with no logo, the glove is upwards of .00003% lighter. It makes it easier to make glove saves.

If I was working for Vaughn I would look for that, that's a lack of exposure for the brand, especially after paying $45k per piece for it to show, make sure it shows.
When I asked my Eagle gear with pro logos, the logos on the catcher's cuff and blocker's front were embroidered. So no peel off.
If the logos are peeling on the pads' V-roll, at least you got one sewn on the side that is visible, but if those logos on the gloves are peeling... no more visibility since the NHL allows only one big logo on each glove.

(Toivonen) Thats the first game he's worn that glove (at least as far back as I was willing to search on getty). The game before he was wearing a 5500, and before that a brians. Maybe its really old or a practice glove though.

I go to the blues practices here all the time... this gloves he's been using often also his 5500 I think its def. a v1 w/ 3 graphics kinda... I guess he's getting used to it enough now to use it in games... better use it before he gets sent back to the minors I guess...

If you were working for Vaughn the graphics for the pads and gloves would actually match. HAHAHAHA
