I have one and once it's broken in it's one of the nicest pieces of gear I've ever used.

Mason played very well tonight. After getting in there after a rough start by Ellis he shut them out.

Squanders a lot of my hope of the hawks getting in the playoffs .

Just like the cubbies...maybe next year .

joey macdonald rocking (imho) the best looking pads in the NHL. Why Vaughn doesn't make gloves to match, baffles me.

Those are reskinned Vault gloves, they're not a pro model, I believe.

I was thinking of the "Vintage" Vault line. Anyway, not sure what's so vintage about that 5500. Looks like the standard graphic.

Why do they do this? It's not like two goalies are likely to get injuried in one game, is it just to show them on the team?

Colleges don't have JV or freshmen teams anymore, so they routinely carry three goalies on the roster. The NCAA allows them to dress three. It would be individual team budgets that would dictate whether a team pays for the third guy to go on the road.

College football does the same thing - Some big schools have dressed over a hundred players for home games (duplicate #'s and all), but take about 60 for road games.

Speaking of NCAA. I just found a picture of Billy Sauer. I don't like the shiny material, but other than that, the yellow Michigan jerseys are looking nice.
