It depends on the mod. Sometimes, mods can be approved by e-mail with accurate pictures and measurements.

We should see lundqvist in some new gear soon, he always matches his sticks with the other gear. When he arrived at Quebec yersterday he had white sticks with him, so mostly white gear should be expected?

Well, it will be very interesting to see if TPS can pull of a set R8 that has the same look as a airline PLASTIC cover.... ;-)

Tim Thomas
other NHL "all stars"

Tomas Vokoun
Rick DiPietro
Manny Legace
Chris Osgood
Evgeni Nabokov

now if you could choose any goalie for your dream team how many of you would go outside this list of "all stars"

Other than Rick DiPietro and his bum hip, how many of those are American born goalies?

Zip it and move on.

Tim Thomas

I was at the Canada vs. usa game in Halifax on Tuesday and in the warm up Tim Thomas was using the new Nike Bauer 0ne95.

In the game he had a silver and gold vapor xxx.

The World Championships don't have anybody's "dream team" - you get the guys who are willing to show up, from teams that missed the playoffs or got eliminated in round 1. Not a lot of NHL talent to choose from.

So out of all American born goalies, who was a better choice than Thomas?

None I can think of, and that includes Miller, who was beat down this year by having to put up Brodeur like numbers in terms of games played.

Thomas had a higher save % (.921 to .906) and a lower goals against (2.44 to 2.64) while facing more shots per game on average (28 to 25).

Over the last three seasons, Thomas has had save percentages of .917, .905, and .921 to Miller's .914, .911, and .906.

As for DiPietro? .900, .919, and .902.

So again, who better than Thomas to be the US goalie???

In a tournament/playoff setting i would put my money on Ryan Miller. He had a sub-par season thanks to a lack of faith in his back-up. Had he been given a lighter workload you would have seen better numbers. But, in the past two playoffs he has been spectacular and he was definitely put off when he was snubbed by the Olympic team in Torino. He wouldn't have been useful this year since he is so burned out but if I had to choose he would be my guy.

Edit: This year the only US born tender left is Thomas. Or John Graham

my point isn't that there is a better US goalie for these world championships, it's that just because you're an "all star" doesn't really mean much. And stats are one thing no doubt thomas has some good stats does that mean he's the starting goalie on your dream team? or is it going to be someone else. Btw this has nothing to do with nationality

So what exactly is your point? That Tim Thomas isn't the best goalie in the entire world? I don't think anyone will disagree with that.

Of course it does - you questioned whether Thomas deserved to be on the team he's currently playing for - that team is limited to players from the same country as Thomas.
