It's actually not the bottle itself, that's the sleeve that the bottle is supposed to be in.

Are you referring to the sleeve the bottle goes in?

It's as unfair as if American League Baseball's umpires were allowing a smaller strike zone for pinch hitters just to generate more points.

I thought the NHL had removed the whole "Player in the crease" rule ever since Dallas won the cup when Hull scored the game winning goal in overtime with his foot CLEARLY in the crease?

Yes the removed the Nazi-like rule but they still kept the interference against the goalie though. And Hull goal was good, the rule said that nobody can be in the crease, but when the guy who has control of the puck scores and is in the crease, it was good if he didn't interfere with the goalie, or else, any breakaway goal would have been ruled "no-goal".
But On the Red Wings goal yesterday, I saw the overhead camera angle and Turco was clearly unable to challenge the shot because Holmstrom was clearly in the crease way before the shot comes.

Yeah...Dallas got robbed on Homstrom's interference goal, and they got off to a bad start thanks to McGrerry (spelling) on that horrible roughing call...and again Homstrom was in the middle of that. Truly a menace...good or bad depending on who you are cheering for.

Ozzie with the Brian's knee pads:
Still can't get over the extensions that were added to his game pads following the Avalanche series...
Here he is in Game 4 against the Avs... old extensions still:
