That's capitalism at work.
RBK does spend a lot on endorsement deals, but I'm telling you, beside goalies shown on their website, all others wearing RBK does it on their own will and aren't paid. Product his good, other companies have good stuff too, but it may also means their pro reps are doing a nice job.
Maybe Sabourin has new gear because of SWD's problems like someone mentioned before. I wonder who makes the pro gear for SWD, I think it's like Itech, an independent shop makes the gear upon SWD (or Itech's) designs. A member here works at the shop that builds Itech pro stuff, maybe it's them too?
By the way, the German goalie who played the 2nd and 3rd period vs Canada today was wearing a Stacey mask.

As there's way too much text for a gear sittings thread, I didnt read it all, but could it be that Osbad got extensions because his pads settled down too much, ala Velo's?
As for RBK buying out everyone/thing, if they made an inferior product, in the long run people will switch, and maybe they will. For now this will put extra pressure on people to actually innovate.

Oh and look what he did today....... He pushed his way out further, and messed with Homer in front of the net and if I remember right he punched him in the back of the head during the play and Homer didn't deflect the puck, and it didn't really harm him in any way... oh and plus that's in a rookie camp where a highly acclaimed GOALIE COACH....TEACHES how to play in the NHL so I guess that your opinion on how to play out ranks them right. I think Marty did a great job today of not letting people have the ground in front of him without working for it. And he did great for not having the D clear it out all the way.

Here's to adding more text in a pic thread. :P
Do the Itechs have the shred stuffing in the boot like Velo's? If they do, and I recall seeing someone open up a set of Prodigies and having the sutff-fill, then they would probably shrink just like Velos, when the stuffing settles in.
And that is a Stacey mask, most certainly a Mach10/Olympic.

Ozzy's extenstions add a +1, +2 at the most. Nothing too extreme to warrant Garth Snow comparisons.
