Doesn't fleury use the 580/90 style of strapping not the p1?

He's a fun goalie to watch play. Gotta cheer for the under 6' guys who can bring it.
I agree with the comment on the dangler and tape color...that is what puts it over the top for me. I always tell my kids to use black or white tape and no stupid tape jobs on the stick. I don't even like the RBK player helmets when the teams add colour to the grey carbon parts.

One of them should wear something crazy, like bright sport gold pads or something.

Wow is that Murphy kid good! That was the first time I saw him play as the NHL Network carreid the game here in the US. Seemed a lot like my style- a small guy with a basic butterfly, but will do anything to stop the puck. Best of luck to him and hope he catches on somewhere in the pros!

Sabourin looks to have the same pad and strap set-up as Fleury. It's smart for Sabourin to try new gear now, because he is not playing. I think he made the right choice getting out of Sherwood and going to RBK.

Speaking of Turco....I think he'd look sweet in all black gear.....especially with those all black home uni's.....maybe he can do what he does with his masks....have a home and away pad set.....all white on the road - all black at home

Maybe they are another set for Fluery. Remember Conklin was wearing a set of Rolosons pads during the playoffs when he was in Edmonton. That would explain why the straping is the same.
Also I was just shopping at macys and I met Kevin Weeks and his wife. I didnt ask him why his left arm was in a sling but I did ask about his Smith pads, and he told me that he sent them back to Pete because they wear too short for him. He said he will be back in Vaughns next year, and the reason why he didnt use Vaughn from the begining of the year was that he was unhappy with Vaughns service the last few years.

Not anymore. It's all black with absolutely no green on it (except for the stars logo on the shoulder)

Big Johny
John Grahame #47 just signed 2 yr deal with Avangard Omsk of Russian Superleague.
I think really good singing for Avangard, sinse they been having a bit of goali problems in last few seasons, Fred Brathwaite played for them last season.
