Goalieworld and Champ don't get along. GW took exception to Champs, ahem, excitement over his new mask in the Pro's Choice thread, and hasn't missed a chance to take a jab at him since. Couldn't tell you why pads (battram or otherwise) dont seem to erupt into the same sort of flame wars.

There's no drama like mask drama.........

There's been some great pad drama on the board. Remember the "Edge vs. VK5" epic last year? Not to mention a bunch of ******** vs. everyone else, "who copied who??" and more!!

Of course, there's the recent slew of "OMGWTFMAFBBQ I've been screwed by insert manufacturer here" threads too.

Mask wars are just more fun, I think because the guys who make the masks are a bit nuts!! They suck in too many chemicals or something

Anaheim Ducks J.P. Lavasseur from rookie game vs Sharks on Sept 10th.

Close to Giguere's gear just orange and tan retro colors reversed.

Carey Price Bauer 0ne95

Was in PSS Calgary, goalie centre the other day and saw a sweet pair of One95 tricked out in black and red with Carey Price stitched on the side (presumably for the worl juniors last year).......wow ! Bauer is really trying to redeem themselves with this lineup.

Theres excessive and then theres neurotic. Chumpy fits the latter.

Hey I like the mask, much how i like most mask but some just need to tone down the "man love".

Chumpy, its "than" not "then". Maybe your noggin took one too many???

BTW... please don't insult my posts. They're nothing compared to your jibba-jabba.

Have a good day.

Seriously? That's the best you could do? Are we 6? Next time follow it up with, "I know you are, but what am I?"

I'm well aware of that. I thought it was excessive too. But this isn't the first thread you've derailed to take a swipe at somebody. It seems like you are more interested in getting him riled up than toning him down.

I wasn't there for the Edge/VK5 debate. I'm still a bit of a noob . As for the other stuff, I guess I let it float by. I have a bigger hard on for masks than for pads, so I'm alway in those threads

[quote=low0f0;1073745]The guy in the all silver and purple rbks, is Danny Taylor. Saw him at Elkins training while i was there. He played here in Bakersfield last year at the beginning of the season. He, as you can see, has the turco breaks, and has the best pivots ive ever seen! Good luck to him.

Danny Taylor has been coming to the camp I work at in Ottawa for the longest time. He is the most competitive and hardest working individual I've seen. As for his gear, I know he's a big fan of the Turco break pads, wears them fairly loose (gets good rotation that way), and rocks a lot of tape under his blocker hand. He says it helps him with stick control and directing pucks. Something new for the geardawgs to try out!
