I've been fortunate enough to skate with the sharks for the past two weeks while Nabby is away and Patzold & Greiss are busy with the goalie coaching staff, but I got a close look at Nabokovs gear for the upcoming season, No pictures though as were the equipment managers wishes.
C/A is a sick looking white Epic series, im not a gear obsesser but i couldnt see any particular mods. But yes it is white, with some small black and silver embroidery.
Pads look to be the same V3's he ended in last season, same colors. However the leg channel is built identical to his classic bauer pads and the knee lock system as well.
Blocker is a v3, White/blk/teal.
Glove is also a V3 in the same color scheme as the blocker.
No orange in nabby's gear despite the sharks using it in their colour scheme this season.
I saw two other Sharks system goalies practicing and both were in v3 sets with teal/white/black & orange color patterns.
One other note, Nabby has 4 sets of gloves which he rotates with in practice, i asked the equipment manager why and his only response was "He just likes to change it up, you would too

Same Warwick mask for now, same paint, looks perfect though so it could have been spruced up over summer.
Also Nabby skated a little with us today (kicked me outta my net!) but the guy is absolutely hilarious to watch practice, squawking at all his guys, circus stick handling, and so on, very cool to be around.
Have to admit im a die hard Kings fan being from LA but being around the sharks for the past two weeks definately has made me look at em more than a in division rival.....cant say fan yet
and why would he want the PS1 over the PS2? Is PS1 c/a more mobile?

I wonder what pads Thomas will end up when the season starts. Also does anyone think that rask or siglet can knock off Thomas and steal the backup spot? Also whatever happened to Kevin Ragan(sorry if spelled name wrong)?
