Lightbulb Itech RX Vs RBK k

What is the difference between the RBK 6K turco break set and the Itech RX 5 set of pads? Are they practically the same thing just different company names because they look very similar just different graphics on them. And is their a difference in quality between the two? Which will last longer? And has anyone had any experience with either pad. Because i was going to get the Rbk 6k Turco Breaks but then i saw these and saw they were same price and i want to know which is better and will last longer. In another thread saw someone say the Itech are really flexible and we die really quickly. Is that True? Any opinions or suggestions is helpful.

Thanks
MTN50

the RBK is a flat faced pad

I would say they are going to break down at realtively the same time depending how much you use them. I saw the RBKs migh last a tad bit longer, because I think they are a little bit stiffer pad.

I have a pair of 5k's and they're holding up pretty well after 2 years! They have very little wear and its only around the toes and lower edge of the calf wing.

Face does not include roll. The Reflex series has knee rolls (although some would debate their functionality). The RBKs do not.

Since he referenced the RX5 in his original post and not the RX9 I thought I would chime in. The RX9 is the only one of the Reflex series with knee rolls. Both the RX7 and the RX5 are flat faced pads. I will be receiving my RX5 set in a week and can update you on my impressions of them once I get them if desired. From the little I got to try them out on the ice before ordering them though I really liked them. I couldn't stand the RBK pads (any of them) when I tried them on. If you have the ability to try a set on thats definitely the best. As similar as they look they felt incredibly different to me.
