My new CA???

My C/A just seems to be to big for me. For example, the floaters make my shoulders to around my neck. I am 6 1 and I am wearing a large Vaughn 7500 so the size should be right - if not a bit to smaller. For example - look at this picture

http://www.transport.polymtl.ca/civ1...ey%20Price.jpg his shoulders are lower.

When I wear my CA I look more like this...

and I would prefer the fit of a smaller more mobile CA. How do I adjust if to make it fit?

I'm assuming (based on model) that the unit is newer. Give it some use and time smashed into your hockey bag.

But if you want to reduce the size now, skim through the how to mod thread on modding the padding. It's basically layered foam and nylon.

this also happened to me too. i also have the 7500 C/A. what i did was lower the shoulder floaters (they're adjustable) and just loosen all the velcro that are behind the neck area. this really lowered the shoulder floaters. all i need to do is now break them in, as they are fairly new.
