What do you guys normally do with blisters?

Well, Most people who wear bauer skates normally get the bauer bubble on the back of their foot... unfortunately I bought a new pair of shoes went running in them, took the shoes off and the skin kinda came off

what does everyone suggest? I had to play an adult league game last night and its killing me Hurts really bad I know its just a blister I shouldnt really be crying about it so bad ... but whats the best way to make this thing heal? I have been using neosporan and bandaids...

How about using a blister plaster (bandaid?) or whatever the correct term would be over there? A type of plaster specifically designed for healing blisters

i know how this feels, i got one on my ankle from my bauers when i first got them, i used neosporan, and wrapped it when i played, it actually left a permanant mark on my ankle thats still there, but if you wrap it, it should drastically reduce the pain while playing, you'll still feel some pain, but not as much.

I use second skin burn treatment. It is a gel pad that soothes and heales. Hold it on with a couple of bandaids.

I usually just pick up some first-aid tape and cover up the blister. It sticks amazingly well, so I don't have to worry about it coming off.

That'll help with the abrasive/rubbing pain. If there's pain from the pressure of the skate, then all I could suggest is something like Tylenol. Local anaesthetics probably shouldn't be applied to open wounds.

Adhesive on the other hand, is not a problem...

I haven't tried it, but I've heard good things about "New Skin." It's an antiseptic liquid bandage.

Just had a blister the other day -- I used polysporin then covered it with a bandaid.

Then I put lots of strips of medical tape over the whole area (including the bandaid) so any sort of rubbing in the skates will only have friction against the tape, and not the broken blister covered with the bandaid.

Works like a charm until it heals over. Then you can just use the medical tape to help avoid blisters in specific areas.
