That's the thing. These are One75 pads, they're the second to best pad from Nike Bauer. The only thing higher is the One95. Seems like they screwed up their order and are trying to clearance them out.

The original price is $499: Custom Colors Now Available!
Nike Bauer Supreme One75 Sr. Goal Pads
Guaranteed Best Price

actually, those pads are great for the money... comparing them to the 8k's in durability... id damn near pick the bauers... if you have a really nice fly... the bauers would be good for you, my son had the one 75 but uses a narrow fly in certain situations and due to some "ridicule" from friends he went back to rbk.... the bauers have the same knee set up as the one 95 and leg channel.... if they had the +1 i think he would have kept them.

Take into consideration that it's $753 for the combo discounted. These clearance prices bring it down to $575. This is all pre-shipping/tax. I bought a set of 6k gear from GM for about that much. If I needed new pads I would take a long hard look at these. I also do like the color scheme these are in.

you cant really compare the quality on these to that of the 6k. In a totally different league.

These would compare with the 8k and 7400

To rank all the pads in your post I'd go:

1. 7400
2. 8k
3. 0ne75

7. 6k

That I was. I was merely pointing out that at $575 pre shipping and tax these are a steal. You're getting good senior quality, not pro, level gear for about $250 less then normal. As I said, if I needed new stuff I would jump on this. Personally, I've had great experiance with Nike bauer onexx player equipment.

Great thread! I'm looking for new gear for next season myself, and these seemed like a good replacement for my rbk 6.0 x-pulse pads? I was wondering though how flexible these pads are?

I can't say for sure, but from the pictures they look fairly flexible (considering they have no breaks). Once you break them in I'm sure they'll hold a nice S-Curve

its a standard box pad. Stiff boot, etc. Just like the P2/8k and the One95. I would not consider this a flexible pad like the Itechs or even Vaughns. Its is designed to keep its stiff s curve shape over time
