My friend bought them and they came with the right velcro tabs to attatch them to his garters.

They were GIGANTIC though. And he had to use tons of tape to make them look normal.

Reebok Edge socks are not your typical hockey sock. They're designed to have shin pads under them and to not stretch out very far. I bought a set for playing forward and I love them for that but I think they're probably pretty useless to use as a goalie. If you do get them then getting the juniors might be a more form fitting option for most people.

I'm 5'10" and use a 13" shin guard, the adults fit a bit loose, I have to use tape to keep them from shifting around too much.

I use them to play goalie and haven't had any issues. I still use a garter and wear them over my bauer knee pads.

I got a set a few weeks ago. The owner of the shop where I bought them is also a goalie and he said that he uses the Jr size to combat the size issue. He's about5'10" or so.

I love them. My pads rotate more easily and the velcro on my knee locks don't grab onto them as much.

Keeping them up is easy. I took one of those Itech player jock short things and took out the jock part so it is just the shorts. I wear that over my underarmour but under my goal jock.

i saw some new design short with round velcro and the velcro are more high.i like the socks especialy when i play on those hot summer day they're a lot cooler and much more conftable.i was thinking of buying a jr set next time cause they are pretty loose.i used to were my knee pads over my socks but they are much more thin than traditional sucks so it took me some time to get used to it ,now i were my knee pad under and whit the tape it hold very well...i should say perfectly!

Quoted because I do the same thing. I actually use the Shock Doctor pants and they work perfectly.

Another vote for compression pants!

Also, I don't wear knee pads and find that the ridges in corduroy-style hockey socks eat my knees up when I go into b-fly. Haven't seen the RBK socks, maybe they're smooth and nice, but compression pants still rock.
