RBK 3k skates vs. NIKEBAUER one55

I'm stuck between the two skates

i've worn bauer skates my whole life but right now i'm planning on getting new skates and hearing good things about the rbk 3k too.
but i play a more hybrid style and hear the rbk's are for "butterfly" goalies[i think the idea is a little silly but i could be wrong]
i found a good pair of rbk skates for a good price and the fact that it has a replaceable cowling is a plus but idk how different it would be from a bauer to rbk

any advice would be helpful
thanks!

I just switched from the 3Ks to the One75s, mainly because the 3Ks were a size and a half too large for my feet (I went from 10.5 to 9 in the Bauer), so keep that in mind.

Construction-wise, the skates are both very nice. I've heard some people with problems with the blades coming loose on the RBKs but I never experienced it. They stayed nice and tight through 6 months of good use.

The Bauers seem to fit a little slimmer, whereas the RBK were a wider (even though they're both "wide" boots). If you have a wider foot, the RBK may be a better fit. If your foot is narrower, then the Bauers may work out better.

I don't know how much else I can say that isn't size-related. I like the Bauers better so far, but again, with having the RBKs in the wrong size it may not be a fair comparison. You may want to check out the One75s as well. I'm very happy with mine so far. The heat-molding really makes more of a difference that I thought (they went from slightly uncomfortable to near-perfect in the span of 45 minutes), and the stainless blade is definitely harder and holds an edge more than the carbon steel blade does. I got my One75s locally for $289.95, so the price is decent too.

I had a pair of 3ks for a while and mine held up pretty well. The blade coming loose was an issue that came up alot but besides that they were decent skates. Not the best, but they would hold up. Now I knew someone else with 3ks, and they had a whole bunch of problems. Loose blades, eyelets torn, broken cowling, and some others but as long as you take care of them, they should be fine.
