Vaughn/RBK Gear Delay?

I ordered a set of vaughns and a rbk catcher and it was due aug.15.
craig said it would come in today or tomorrow and i was wondering if anyone else's gear has been delayed as well.

100% pointless thread.

If this is an attempt to ruin a great reputation, you failed. I know waiting for gear is hard, but the guys at dukes, and the majority of other retailers do their best. It's not like they are intentionally holding your gear. They like to get the pads out and complete the sale also.

Agree. You can never expect to get the pads or gear exactly on time, all delivery dates are estimates. Especially for those who order in Summer, the absolute busiest time for manufacturers. Vaughn is behind big time this year.

I just oredered 3 RBK sticks and dukes frogot to ship them out to me. So they would ship them monday and they still havent come yet.

I agree, this thread sucks. Call the store and be patient. Who knows why the gear isn't there yet. Most likely the manu is a little bit behind.

I know ordering new gear and waiting for it is exciting but you just gotta wait.

When I read this, I don't see any bashing of Dukes or any blame being thrown at them. I see someone asking if anyone else's gear has been slow.

You all need to chill out and give him the real answer to his question.

All non-pro player gear right now will be slower because the NHL and AHL goalies gear is being made right now, and they are a higher priority.

The mods should change the title of this thread to "VAUGHN and RBK gear delay?"

Seriously, it's well documented that Vaughn is on a stupid 14-18 week wait and everyone knows that RBK runs pretty close to 12 weeks in the summer. They also shut the plant down for a week or two and don't include that in your wait time. Just as a heads up, the best time to order gear is in December. That's when all the stores and PRO's have their gear.

hey i talk to vaughn reps a lot because i too am waiting for new gloves. Vaughn is EXTREMELY busy right now if you order gear its 16-18 weeks, which is crazy from their normal 8-10. Hockey season is coming up and yeah, custom pads are becoming more and more popular.

You already asked this a couple of times before in the Vaughn thread. The last time you asked, you got alot of answer back that Vaughn is very,very busy right now:

All pro orders should be on the go right now so any public orders are going to be delayed even longer. Please be patient like the rest of us and wait. I ordered some custom pants from Vaughn and it took 17 weeks to get them, and I was told in 8 weeks I would have when I was ordered. I was a little ticked, but that is the price you pay when you order custom stuff. It will come in when it does. It's the sad part about ordering custom gear, the long wait times but there is nothing the store you bought it from or you can do about. You just have sit there and wait for it. What Davieboy said is true About RBK, they shut down the 1st 2 weeks of Aug. I believe ever year, so any RBK orders are closer to 14 weeks with the shut down. From what Vaughn is doing now your looking at closer to 16+ weeks(4+ months) wait time from the time you ordered it.

I agree. The OP never once claimed it was Dukes fault, just simply asking a question.

well, thanks for the input guys. yeah i know, i should be patient but i was just asking a question if anyone else's gear got delayed. im not bashing at dukes or anything. good news is, my rbk catcher came in already so im just waiting for my pads and blocker.

Lots of delays right now. Even me with connections had to wait an extra day
