When it comes to mask painting, think of three words.

Fast, cheap, good.

Pick 2 out of the 3.

If you want it fast & cheap, it won't be good. If you want it good & fast, it won't be cheap! If you want it good & cheap, it won't be fast.

Check out the equipment forum stickies, there's a list of mask painters. Check out their websites, call some of them and tell them what you want.

Everyone here on the board has a favorite painter, myself included. Every painter has his own personal specialty of sorts, some are better at fine detail than others, and some are less expensive. My personal favorite is Tony Jarrett at Masked Expressions (Custom goalie mask painting, mask painting, race helmet painting, goalie masks by Tony Jarrett). I'm sure you'll get several other options posted.

FYI, I was considering this design a while back...

Had someone mock it up in the "Help design a mask" thread:

Ended up looking like this:

That's sick! I love the simplicity of it while retaining the menacing feel of the Joker. The lips are a great job. I think if the eyes had a bit more fade to it cause it's a bit too clean for the smudged makeup that they had in the movie. Any good painter can do that for ya, looking forward to seeing this done if you do get it done.

It looks excellent, maybe something personal smallish either on the front forehead or on the chin (number, batsignal, ext)

But looks so sweet!

I got it, either a joker card from the movie, or a full set of jokers from the deck(all suits) .

You will have a sweet job there. Well done!

Makes me want to get a new paintjob.
