You could probably get an nv7 for less than that. i had one and then switched to a 960. they feel similar and fit only slightly different.

Also for $300, you can check out the Hackva. Great protection, sightlines (cateye cages are readily available), price, customer service, etc...

Hey dubslug,

I see you are in the UK. You have a fantastic option for a mask in the EU. Stacey Composites is based out of the Netherlands. He has a fantastic mask that is custom foam fitted and has a full layer of Aramid and its $240 USD, so thats like what 120 British pounds lol

All he needs is a picture and some measurements and he will fit the mask to you. The option is below your budget and is closer than the US or Canada

Stacey Composites

info@staceycomposites.com

If you have any questions feel free to send me a PM I own 2 of his masks. The inside is very comfortable. I had my foam lined with coolmax. Makes it very comfy.

I can highly recommend Stacey. Long shipping times (not his fault) but for what you pay you get more than an awesome mask. Especially cause it's made for your head!

For $300 I suggest you bypass a new mask because for that money you wont get something overly protective. I suggest going in the GSBB classifieds and picking out something higher quality for the same price.

Take advantage of all the people selling off high end masks for less than half of what they paid for them. Youll be safer.

And if there's nothing you like and you really wanna buy new I suggest a Quantum, Eddy, Stacey or Hackva.

The stacey is a very good option. If your 960 isnt cracked I would get that refurbished. Its better than most of your options in the 300 dollar range....

Refurbishment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I had to! lol

Basically refurbished means sending out your mask to someone to have it repaired and fixed up.

As to what it includes it depends on who you send it out to and what arrangements you have done with them.

Being in the UK might make it hard since you would have to send it out to someone. Shipping times can take quite a bit.

That is why I mentioned Stacey in the Netherlands for a mask in your price range. You can send him an email and basically ask questions. You dont loose anything by doing that.

Is your 960 cracked, or is it just old and the padding needs to be changed? If it's not structurally damaged, a refurb would be cheap, and you could continue to use the mask you're comfortable with.

I can echo the Stacey sentiments, I've been wearing one of his masks for over a year now and it's a tank, plus it's custom padded so it's comfy as hell.
