RBK 7K Sticks

I don't know, I tried to search but obviously don't understand how to do it with small names like RBK and 7K............. I know this has been posted before but can't find it.

Simple dirty facts about durability: about the same cost - SWD wood and foam vs. 7K for durability. I like the 7K feel. Are they simply garbage or decent lasting?

Thanks for your patience and input..................

I actually jsut picked up a RBK Premier series II 7K luongo and I have only used it twice and so far i like it. Its not any lighter than a normal non composite stick

Funny you started this thread because I just picked up a 7k in Giggy pattern and i used it only once but the paint has been holding up great compared to my vapor xx I have. Gonna be interesting to see how its gonna hold up on the long run.

I was gonna get a couple from TGC myself - but I dont know how they are. I saw them at my local hockey shop - they have a hollow shaft like most player composites - wasn't sure how that would hold up with taking shots to it (break??) - the paddle felt fine/sturdy/flexible...I may get one just to try it.

I have 2. One has a lot of paint chipping off, the other (which has seen a ton more use) has none coming off. So who knows how yours will hold up.

They feel a tad heavy to me. Sometimes it's hard to tell for sure when you are only hefting them in the store. A composite that feels about the same overall heft as a wood stick...just seems to lose some of the incentive to try one for me.

I'll use it again tomorrow AM -- better get to bed SOON!

We'll see. I didn't like the composite "feel" of the puck bouncing off. I know that makes no sense, but seem to think the Wood / foam has more "feel."

We'll see.....
