As far as I saw, Marshall Heaton was looking into decals and patches. I got no reply from him or the family, and in various ways I had people voicing their concerns over this idea being taken on, such as copyright infringement for logo use, family blessings, cost/profit, etc., so I stepped back from it.
I'm a busy guy too, and I've got plenty on the go so I was hoping someone who could put more time and effort into the project could tackle it. Sorry I couldn't help more guys, this project is something I feel is very important to make happen, but it has to be done right.

Well I know some stores in Toronto still have some of the gear (Gloves, Blocks, & pads) but I did send a request from his site to buy an item from his in stock stuff, without repy.
Still looking for either an all white EL10 block or mixed with Black & white, only one I've found so far is a blue & white one at Just Hockey.
I wish I could snag a set of EL10 pads, but that looks to be a no go.
Terrible shame I sold my EL10 block, should of used my head and kept it.

Got pics back of my new lid paintjob, figured I'd post the backplate here for obvious reasons.

Hello everyone:
I have been trying for awhile now to be able to post on this forum and finally have been approved. I wanted to thank you to everyone for the prayers and thought to our family about my dad.
Is there any word on the decal that has been designed? I have been asked how to get some. Is it going to be a vinyl decal, embrodered decal, etc.? I think if people who want to purchase the decal(s) a donation from the proceeds can be made to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a Hockey Organization? Any thoughts or suggestions? Have a great day!
Cheers,
Stephanie Heaton

Hi Stephanie, welcome on the BB!
Have you spoken to your brother? Marshall did mention he was gonna get involved...but now i don't know. I left things as is seeing how no one is finding a middle...decals, or T's, or patch?

Hi Rich:
I have e-mailed Marshall but I have gotten no response about the decals. I can try to see what I can do as far as finding someone who could make them. Would that be of any help? Please let me know. Have a good day. Cheers.

We will be putting inventory stock on the website. We are looking at what to do with the BHG Product Line. We will keep you up to date. Thank you.

I remember meeting Brian in Toronto at a goalie school back in the mid 80's. He had just left Brian's and was starting up the Heaton brand. I remember him being a very nice man...even to an arrogant 14 year old at the time who thought he was going to win the Vezina one day. He was truly an innovator. I think Brian's came out first with one piece cheater on the glove and the "puck foil" at the bottom of pads that were outlawed a few years later. I could be wrong but I think they were also one of the first sets of pads to come with laces instead of toe straps as well. All from a guy who never played the position! Amazing!
Rest in peace Brian.

My Dad passed in June, I still can't return/ sell his work van. It's way to hard. My mom keeps paying the payments, but it's just sitting there.
I removed all his tools and all. I get too emotional when I'm in his stuff. I feel like I'm still there with him. The last things he was working on are still as they were. I don't think I'll ever move them.
It's like I'm hoping he'll just come back and everything will be normal again.
I don't know how you Heatons are going to do it. His shop, his craft, his products are all so personal and all. So many things... I can't even deal with just a truck.
Good luck
