Vortek VK7's are the best buy on the market for the buck though. You wont find anything even CLOSE to the same quality for the price. I wouldnt call it as high quality as Vaughn, Itech and Eagle etc but I would call it pretty damn close and youll spend about $1000 less or more.

The Vortek gloves and pads are equal to or superior in materials and workmanship to anything made by any manufacturer. I base this on stuff Nate has owned: Brown gloves, Brian's Thief gloves, Vaughn V-1 and V-2 pads (including Ray Emery's), Eagle Infinity pads that were Tomas Vokoun's. He's had Vortek VK-2, VK-3 and VK-4 gloves, now uses Vortek VK-7 gloves and pads.
Design features are matters of personal preference, of course. He likes the VK-7 gloves and pads so much more than anything else he's ever had that I've ordered another set for him because the promotional price they're running is so good.
