Pant problems

I bought the RBK Pro pants a few weeks ago, I guess about 6, along with a new Epic c/a. My problem is the pants seem to be pushing the c/a up higher than it should be. I tried suspenders and that's when I came to the conclusion it was the pants and not the c/a being the wrong size, since the suspenders didnt do much if anything. I think they might be to long and that the pants are hitting the knee blocks, so i need a way to get the c/a further into the pants. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone have an idea on how to fix that? I'm considering getting new pants which my bank account wouldnt be a big fan of but if I have to, I have to

Are you tucking in your C/A? I wear my bottom strap pretty loose on my C/A and wear it over the breezer. (Side question are Minnesotans the only hockey players who call them breezers?)
