Getting stuff to calgary

I need a new blocker relatively soon. Anyone know what the most cost efficient method of acquiring a blocker in Calgary. The goalie shop is the only place i know and their price is pretty much double that of the US. What about gettign it cheap online, free shipping to chicago, and then my parents could independently ship it up to me? Any other ideas?

I don't buy anything (except sticks) at any of the shops here in Alberta. Best bet is to buy off E-bay.

dont buy anything out here, i would look at shops in ontario... dukes, the goalie crease, simmon....

I agree with the fellow Albertans; don't buy anthing here, except maybe sticks and skates. Skates are in the ball park of everywhere else, and you get the heatmolding done on the spot.

I try all the gear on locally, then order online when I know my size...

Thanks a lot, fellas. For the record, I think the cheapest way would be ordering it online and coughing up the extra 30 or so bucks for shipping and duties. Luckily for me, one of our fine gsbb members has a blocker (with perfect colors, i might add) that he's trying to unload. Thanks for all the responses!

I'm from red deer and I also don't buy anything but sticks and under armour from the shops in alberta, way too pricey. For the last few years i've been getting all my gear from dukes, they are top notch!
