Hands down best finger protection is in the Vapor XXX. It has different style finger board that actually wraps around as your fingers bend. I've an awesome John Grahame Pro-return one for sale. If you are interested lets haggle a price.

NOT SUGGESTED: Brian's
I'll second (or third or fourth?) the Rbk design. I also like the Vaughn designs but the Rbk one is better.

I suggest you change the way you hold your stick. Its probably cheaper! and will help you in the long run

Do you play where NHL spec is needed? If not, why not find an old bionic?

Nike Bauer One95
The One95's finger protection is just as good if not better then the RBK PSII Blocker. It has the same floating side finger protection but I feel the extra finger protection around the index finger is stronger in the One95 which is what you specifically looking for.
I had a Supreme Pro blocker myself and the protection on the One95 Blocker is 1000X better then the Supreme ever was on it's best day.
This, just my opinion of course on what you should get. I would still suguest, if you can, to go see for yourself at a shop what would be best for you aspecially if you have fractured this finger 2 times.

One95 was an improvement. Wow.
You can see that the better protection for the index finger is a 2 layer system. A flap that attached to the board and a fixed pad attached to the finger in the palm.
The flawed Brian's design was to attach a index finger pad to the finger on the palm with elastic. The elastic was too lose and the finger would be 100% exposed.
In my attached pictures you can see the nice Leferve design and ...
the finger protection of Gods in the Passmore blocker as I brushed my teeth with it on.

Most pro blockers these days have TOO MUCH finger protection, IMO. Gets in the way, and limits mobility.
My RBK PII blocker had so much stuff on the inside edge, that I cut some of it off and still felt the protection was overkill.

To protect the index finger, I suggest you to use the trigger grip on your stick. That way, your index isn't exposed at all and you get a stronger grip on your stick.
Look at Sanford's stick.
Curtis Sanford
With this, you will only need minimal padding on your index, because, it won't be exposed at all. You can order custom sticks like that or do it yourself. Any wood of foam core stick can be modded like that. A good little saw and sand paper is enough.

I was gonna get the one95, but the finger protection is so stiff, I could barely hold a stick! I got the V3 instead, and the finger protection is not that great, but the blocker over all is amazing!

I have to second the TPS Summit blocker. It has fingers on it like a players glove and is one of the best blockers I've ever had.
You can kind of see what we're talking about in this photo of my blocker:

I broke my index finger tip using an exceed with players fingers. The puck pushed the padding to the side and pinched my finger against the stick. There is a reason all the pros who ware the summit get finger boards on it instead of the players fingers.
I can't believe no one else agrees with the vapor xxx. The "armadillo" finger style was awesome! I use a one95 now and wish that my vapor matched my pads.

After playing in a Cooper GM-6 blocker that had the padded fingers and no finger boards... I'll never go without finger boards.
To me, the TPS glove with the player finger style pads, was not what I would want to play with.

I've never had a problem with it. I've had pucks run up my stick as well as taking pucks to the fingers on snap shots as I dove on my back with an open blocker at them as a last ditch effort. Not smart, but it worked. Most pros like things they're used to which is another reason they don't use the stock blocker. It's not just because of the protection.
