Pics and review on the Eagle TP10 Legpad.

The Eagle TP10 Legpad..

When I first tried them on in the Cyclone Taylor Store in Canada I thought they were pretty small for a 34" pad.. They barely go over the knee.. (see the pics)
And they were not so comfortable on the leg as I thought they would be.. But the staff in the store told me that after a break in period of a couple of weeks they would fit perfectly..
And now after a couple of weeks I just love them... I don't care that much of appearence and how they look.. how they work and how they fit is more important to me..
The Butterly cut in the pads fit my butterfly perfectly.. I don't want them to rotate completely since that will make the puck bounce up instead of down as I want it to.. I want to keep the rebound under control and into the corner..

the wear on them is almost not visible.. not a scratch or tear in them.. just a few puckmarks on the front.. that's all..
The straps are strong and they still look brand new..

I'm not that good at writing reviews but this is all I could think of to write.. I just thought I would write some words about them in here to share the experience with everyone... summa sumarum I like them alot... The best I've ever had.. (had a few Bauer and Heaton pads before.. not even in the same class)
and the best of all is that they are very cheap for a pad in that class.. just under 1000 canadian dollars.. Here in Sweden we have to pay around 1500 US dollars for a pair in the same class...

Can someone please help me post some pics of them in here???.. I have some pics of me in action with them..

Swedish Goalie..

(please excuse if my english is not that good... It's easier to answer questions about them.. so please ask anything)

Hey Swedish Goalie, nice review. I've never really been a fan of Eagle gear, but I'm glad you like the pads. I'm really interested in seeing how they look on you.

I can't wait to see your pics so we can all see in action ;o)

I have a friend who lives in Stockholm and he tells me how expensive hockey equipment is over there. When he lived with me in Canada last summer he stocked up on hockey and baseball equipment to bring home.

Hi Swedish goalie for the past month I have had access to the eagle TPClaw and 2 pairs of TP20"s. I have had aaa goalies and professional goalies wear the gear and everyone is very happy with the equipment.

those pads look great!
Also it looks like your holding your stick so the blade is on an angle...or it might just be my eyes, but what the hell, just thought i'd point that out

Matt.. Nothing wrong with your eyes.. )
It's not actually my stick... I broke mine earlier in the practice so I had to borrow one from a friend...
I guess that stick is a little to long for me..
I was thinking about getting a same as him but now that you've mentioned it, It's maybe better to get another..
Any suggestion anyone on a great stick?? matching my outfit of course.. ) .. well that's not the most important but a white and black stick would be cool.. =)

I like my new Sher-Wood 7070. The senior version would be along the lines of the 9950. Very light and well-balanced, even for the size (I like my sticks big). lighter than my old 650 Salo.
