i have one more question, if i dont have broad shoulders, should i get the epic 8800 C/A instead of the V3. i want to get the v3 c/a because people said that the epic lacked some protection. but many pplz say that the v3 is for pplz with broad shoulders. is the protection level same with the epic?

Vaughn's fit the smallest out of the CA's so it isn't a very big surprise to have to get a bigger size.

I'm 6'1" and have an XL V2. I had to shorten the arms, but the rest of the unit fits perfect for me (I tuck it in the pants).

I am also 6 feet tall... ordered a xl and was way to big. I am going with the large... fits much better - the arms are always going to be long, but the rest fits better at a large.

I am six feet tall as well and the arms fit me perfectly! I must have those gorilla length arms some one mentioned earlier. However, I really have to cinch up the waist area as my waist as is only 29". Overall fit is excellent. Can't wait to use it on the ice!

I have an XL epic 8800. I am 6'3" and i must have those gorilla arms because the arms are a perfect fit. I just ordered the v3 for next year. I went w an XL again plus the one mod i got was one extra row of blocks in the torso because i tuck it in and i like it to overlap; hopefully it is not too long.

Nice post man...any chance you have an action, or an on-ice shot of you wearing the C/A?

I'm curious to see the bulk in the shoulders.

I just received my V3 from The Hockey Shop. Won't be able to use it on the ice until June 23. I'll post a review in this thread eventually.

Will post pictures up soon though.

i just got this C/A in a size medium. I should've gotten small, but i am a growing child and i just wanted to have some growing room in them. And the guys said a medium would work fine after seeing how it fit on me. However, my question is, whenever i put on my C/A, i have a hard time doing the two buckles at the side. does anyone else have a problem with this?
