I have the 7400 c/a and it is great!
the only difference i have found from the 7500 is that the 7400 does not have the triangular rib protectors.

Cool but is It that much worse than the 7500 C&A because the 7400 being $369.99 and the 7500 being $449.99 and the pro model only being $80 more why should I not get the pro model?

Sorry I'm unsure of what you want a picture of. I know what a gusset is in terms of clothing, not sure about pads. Happy to go take one if you clarify that a little.

The bottom edge of the pad, if you were in the butterfly...the part that comes into contact with the ice....calf wrap/knee wrap...etc...hope that clears things up!

to be honest, i really dont know why you should'nt get the 7500 c/a.
i actually got very lucky, i ordered the vaughn vault c/a but the guys down at five hole sports said that they had discontinued it so he automatically upgraded me to the 7400 for the same price as the Vault.

Here are some pics of my White/Black 7500. I can't really see a difference between them and the 7400.

the main difference is the leg channels,
the 7400 is exactly like the vaults, while the v3 7500 is a more traditional velocity channel.
The stuffing in the pads is also a key factor but it comes down to personal preference....... the 7500 will have a better life expectancy and would be recomended for a higher level of play. I would get the 7500 as they will last longer and it will save you money in the long run rather than getting new pads every season.

If you play on average 5 times a week ad high level hockey like myself it is a no brainer to get the 7500, but at almost a year with this intense workload i will need to get new pads soon as mine are getting a little flimsy, but that shouldn't be a problem if you arent on the ice as much.

You play roller though. Ice for some reason just breaks down pads faster.

im trying to convince my parents to get me pro stuff cause if senior pads last 2 years in roller, a pro pad on roller should last at least 3 or 4 years.

This is true. Most of my pads (pro) last atleast 2 years on ice. I'm on the ice atleast 5 times a week too. So on roller they should easily hit 4 years. I even think that the 7400 would last you that long.
