get the vaughn knee gaurds. Use some clear tape to go around the straps just to keep them in place.

I was about to get these, but I thought for a while and just bought a used set of v2s for 300.00 cheaper.

I'm flying bare and I'm loving it. In all seriousness the ones that come with the pads are the kind you strap to your thigh under your pants. I've never cared for that style. I'm using nothing right now but likely I'll eventually get nailed in the knee and go to either a knee pad or buy the other style thigh protector(like in the 7k's).

No not yet....my photographer(wife) is slacking. I have a new season kicking off mid-may so she'll likely come and take some pictures in the first few games.

I got one over a month ago and I prefer it over my old Tps Summit.

7400 Impressions.

Today I received my 7400 Legpads from Total Hockey. I got them in 34+1 in White/Black/Silver/Black. They look amazing. I will use them for the first time tomorrow night. I'll follow up tomorrow night after my game.

If you did a simple search throughout the board, you would know that the 7400 is Vaughn's SR. line. the 7500 line is the pro line.

if i wear 34" RbK 6k's (i won't admit that i do) would a 34+1 7400 be around the same size? how do vaughn and rbk compare size-wise?

well, RBK/Koho typically runs a little larger than vaughn. a 34" RBK would probably be close to a 35" Vaughn.

That being said, methinks your best bet is to measure your atk, and use that measurement to select the right size vaughn.
