Hey there, ive been lookin at new pads to get and im torn between either these itech 4.8's or either the rbk 6k or 6.0 x-pulses. now, i dont need a real high end pad as i only play roller hockey on sport court about 2-3 times a week. granted i would LOVE to get some battram deceptors (inline version of course) but spending 1k+ on pads for rec leagues seems silly to me.

anyway, which would you guys recommend out of the 3?

if you can afford the 6K's go for them, they will outlast the 4.8's by a long margin!

really? plus they are about the same price, least from the goalie crease ebay store.. though the 6k's would be alittle more with shipping but not by much. i thought the 6k's had durability issues?

When are you planning on getting pads? I just got a set of 6Ks last week, they have seen 6 games so far. They are still holding up well, and considering I play about 5 times a week, I should have a good idea on how they will hold up in the long run soon. I will be writing a review in a week or 2.

i had my 4.8's for 2 months, and the seams came apart. i'm looking to replace this before one season.

my buddy has had his 6k's plays on 2 teams per season, and has had them for almost 3 years and they're just starting to breakdown now.
