I have a couple of game worn Steve Passmore jerseys. If all this is true I have to wear one next time I play and will be like a wall! Yes he was small. His jerseys are a 58G but had the sleeves and the bottom hems sewn up a couple inches.

When i played a season of Rec hockey in Blackburn, a canadian girl 'keeper turned up wearing some Reactor 5's that had once belonged to Passmore, they looked as if they were in olilers colours but, i only ever remember him with Chicago..anyway, apparantly, she played on the same womens team as his mum back home.

I think I still have some of his gear from when we played together. I wouldn't have been a good back-up if I couldn't scam a whole lot of free gear!!!! Keep us informed about the infamous blocker.

I'm doing my best for Steve. Although I never met the man, I feel connected to him... almost like I'm holding his hand.

Thanks for sharing and caring.
So let me get this straight, Steve's mom played hockey while Steve was in the NHL? Wow. Yes, Steve did play with the Oilers and was a Bauer Reactor whore.
And, of course, a Vic pad user. What else would you expect Steve Passmore to wear? Right altazo?

I once saw Steve Passmore make an upside down split save. He was literally on his head with his legs up in the air doing a split, sort of in a T shape. It was the weirdest save I have ever seen to this day.
It was in a hawks game, does anyone else remember this?

no luck with pro gloves...
Matt_The_Hammer, I've got Mike Dunham's super modded Itech X-wing 12.8 blocker and catcher (from the Islanders) and all they do is fall apart under pressure.
The webbing on the catcher keeps mysteriously coming undone right at the crucial t-joint and the zipper on the blocker keeps coming undone... like the foam board inside is trying to escape.

Goats34-
They feel dirty because they were once held by Snow. It is not the same privilege as Passmore.

I think if they were held by Snow they would have, at some point, had 1 3/4" sideblocks mysteriously stitched around the perimetre, citing "Mike Dunham's hand safety" as the reason.
You're right, though, Dunham isn't even close to Passmore-esque.

Ned that sounds about right for those pads.
The legend played 6 games for the Oilers in the 98-99 season going 1-4-1 with a 2.82 GAA and .907 S%
"The 5-foot-9, 165-pound goalie is the only member of the Oilers' top 10 prospects not drafted by the Oilers. Passmore has resurrected his career after missing all but two games in the 1995-96 season due to a recurring muscle cramping condition. When he and fellow prospect J.F. Labbe didn't beat Bob Essensa for the job backing Curtis Joseph, Passmore was sent to Hamilton and later San Antonio. Passmore struggled, but by February he was back in Hamilton and playing well." (Dan Barnes, The Hockey News Future Watch 1998)
How could I forget that he overcame that mysterious blood disorder / muscle cramping condition to become Steve Passmore the modern-day legend. Supposedly he had to pop massive amounts of pills to control an overabundance of heavy metals in his blood.
