Passmore blocker .. my two cents

It seems I have PASS through it MORE than I thought I would. It was quite funny actually and this coming from someone who knows several past NHLers personally
(quite unusual for someone going to school in Texas lol) .. well it's 3am here so I'm
gonna call it a night. Just wanted to say Hi to my friends (you know who you are)

steve passmore was prolly watching the blocker auction - bummed and down an out it only went for $20 especially since the hockey hall of fame wasn't the high bidder - but this thread might actually restore his faith in his fan base - maybe enough for a comeback!

howz bout it - passmore comeback tour '08!!!!

on a side note, i am going to put my used passmore stick next to all my gear, maybe by osmosis or something the luck of the passmore can find its way onto my gear - and who knows....

Im nearly in tears laughing, this is fantastic..id love one of those shirts. It would be like a badge of honour.

Is it not possible to edit wiki pages? Maybe we could just add to it and wait for it to be passed by the mods there..

Now im wondering if the catcher can be found and reunited with the blocker...surely something magical would happen?!

Fantastic driving review by the way, im waiting for the next one.

maybe we should start a StevePassmoreBulletinBoard, you know, the SPBB. If someone does the shirts I am totally in for one, NO, make that 2, one to wear under my c/a and another to wear for casually lounging around the house, church, etc.....

Today - work review with the Steve Passmore blocker
Saturday - Yard work with the Steve Passmore blocker
Sunday - I have a baseball game, so I may be able to review it's use on the diamond.

Stay posted.

When I was a child, Steve Passmore, yes THE Steve Passmore winked to me as I banged on the glass during a TV timeout. Greatest moment of my life no doubt....

Oh ya, you're totally right - my spatial sense is off. Maybe he has a pinky mod in his catcher, too.

this might just be the last stick passmore used in the nhl... knowing that this stick was taped by the guy that has touched so many on the gssb is pretty overwhelming...

as far as passing around the glove...i dunno - matt you seem to have control when wearing the glove - the power of the glove might be too much for others...might drive them mad. others with not so good intentions might want the glove to use for evil. you might have to destory it in the fires of london ontario, where it was forged, to prevent this happening. middle earth depends on you!!! this is your burden...

Office Review Part 1

Hockey and Driving reviews completed, now it's off to work. How else would I be able to afford such expensive gear? I'm a project engineer that works in highway construction. My job entails a lot of communication though email, faxes and phone calls. Although I spend time on construction sites, this review is just at the office.

Computer:

Okay, using the mouse looked impossible with the glove. I was mildly suprised that with the glove on I could still mouse with the best of them. My mouse position had to be adjusted so that I didn't bang the board into other items, but for the most part the blocker keeps me working like Steve Passmore and still protects my hand while I scroll.

As for typing. Not possible. I'm an okay typer, but the lack of vision of the keyboard and the finger padding made hitting the correct keys darn near impossible. It's not like the Quebec Nordiques drafted Steve Passmore to type memos anyway. GRADE: D

Writing:

Part of my job involves writing. The Passmore blocker was fine gripping the pen. Although awkward, I could still write. The finger padding again was the problem. Even with the Passmore pinky mod, my writing wasn't the normal. Look at what Steve wrote... Even Passmore knows about the legend. GRADE: B+

(Viva la Moto!)

Phone:

The blocker allowed me to grab the receiver fine. I could hold the phone to my ear and get a little whiff of Passmore while dialing with my left hand. The Eagle blocker adds a little bit of professionalism to my phone ability and my time on the phone was reduced. I attribute this new efficiency to Steve Passmore and the fact that I didn't want to spend much time holding this glove next to my head. GRADE: A

Scissors:

The strap from the thumb to the sideboard made operation of scissors impossible. Cutting sucks anyway. We all know Steve Passmore dosen't need scissors. What are we in 3rd grade? GRADE: C

Stapler:

I could hold the stapler fine and staple at will. The sideboard and face made it a challenge to get papers into the stapler, but I managed. The classic stapler pound was improved with the glove. GRADE: B+

Unless he is from the Simpsons I would argue you really cannot tell. I think I see some white on the top of his pinky...
