Great review! Im inspired, if only we could all have Passmore Blockers

On the T-shirt front, if we settled on a design...could we get Juniorcats to help us? Nothing would make me laugh more than to wear my 'wwspd' shirt to games, only to bump into another goalie wearing the same

In The Kitchen

Steve Passmore wasn't just a hockey idol, he also was a man. A man with with a hand. A hand that used an Eagle Odyssey blocker. A blocker that I now own.

So I took the blocker from the yard to my kitchen. My kitchen isn't too fancy, just typical small house kitchen with black Kenmore Elete appliances all around. Not Passmore quality by any stretch, but nice enough for someone who buys equipment off ebay.

Doing Dishes:

Honestly, Steve Passmore dosen't do dishes, so why should his glove? I didn't bother with taking any dirty dishes from the filled sink, the blocker board made that hard to do. Plus soapy food filled water and leather gloves are not a clean mix. My only option was to open the dishwasher and see if it was clean or dirty.

The glove opened the dishwasher easily plus I got to see the legendary "Passmore" name as I reach for a clean glass. Kinda feels like Steve Passmore is getting me something to drink... what an honor.

GRADE: B

Cooking In The Oven:

Steve Passmore pwns Betty Crocker. Who does she think she is?

The glove makes grabbing the oven door a breeze. Nothing like the warm air rising out of the oven and passing by Steve Passmore's glove. Is that brownies I smell? No, that's Steve Passmore's blocker I smell. What a treat!

On the downside, the blocker didn't match any of our cooking aprons but the leather palm did allow for quick grabbing of hot items without burning my hand.

Damn that Passmore pinky mod! I have a burnt pinky now. But I guess it's my fault for cooking. Steve Passmore dosen't cook... why should I?

GRADE B+

Can Opening:

This cumbersome task was improved with Steve Passmore's blocker. The pro palm allowed me to grip the opener with greater force than bare hands alone. The glove added protection from any can opener mishaps like cutting my finger with the sharp edged top.

Added coolness is the fact that I get to again see "Passmore" as I open the food. The pro sized board makes counter work easier since I don't bang into the other crap on the counter.

GRADE A-

Fridge Opening:

This wasn't much of a challenge for the glove.

Although obtaining anything from the fridge with the glove on was damn near impossible. Steve Passmore must have personal servants that get him his food right?

GRADE: A+ (For the personal waiter aspect)

$13 CAD for a 12 pack at the 'Duty Free' shop at the border near Niagra Falls.

I feared bringing 'renegade' alcohol back to the states, so I regretably only bought a case. Really, really, really wish I bought like 5 cases now.

Next time.

This "mystery ailment" is cause by Steve, while he constantly flexes his massive muscles because he made a promise, that at every game he would flex his muscles once for every lady in the building!

steve passmore truly is not only a hockey legend, but a sports legend in chicago. I remember games at the United Center in the early 2000's where the crowd wanted to see Thibault get shelled simply so Passmore would get in. His 29 belongs in the rafters with Esposito, Hull, Hall, and Mikita.

See these two fantastic vintage 1995 vehicles?

There will be some review of working on either. As I type, the F-150 is sitting at Home Depot with a bad starter solenoid or faulty wires. I had to abandon it the other day there after spending 2 hours trying to revive it with my leatherman and some more tools bought at Home Depot.

Today I'm going to get her.

The Passmore t-shirt

First, I would like to thank Goats for the design. He is much more in tune with THE Passmore way.

I got the design from Goats and oppened it with paint, because that is all I know how to use, and resized it to be as big as I could get it to print on 8x11 page. Then flip the image and print on transfert paper.

[IMG][/IMG]

Then I cut out the image. From personal experience it is best to cut out the image for best results.
[IMG][/IMG]
I ironed on the image as directed, on the back of the t-shirt and voila, the first THE Passmore t-shirt.
[IMG][/IMG]
I have not yet decided on a design for the front. I will be the first to admit that I do not know what THE Passmore would do. I will need help from thoes more in tune with the way of THE Passmore.

I was going to go with a design I made before of a goalie mask with WWSPD on the forehead and the number 29 on the chin.
[IMG][/IMG]
Any input would help.

NOTE: The pictures have been resized on Imageshack, therfore slightly distorted.

My goalie coach played against Passmore in Juniors, my fall league coach was his roommate for a season, and my regular coach played with him for a little bit in the minors. Just thought I would add my passmore experience.
My coach two years ago (steve poapst, another well-known blackhawk.) had one of his sticks in his basement and he gave it to me because i had broken both my sticks the practice before and i had nothing to use for the next day. still have it, a ccm/heaton 10 natural and red. i thought a midget must use this thing because the paddle was only about a 23 and the shaft wasn't big either.
