I just bought a pair of these pads off of Ebay (thegoaliecrease) like a couple others have said. I thought I got a good price of 199.99. I havent picked them up yet .....
NEW 2008 33" RBK X Pulse 6.0 Senior Goalie Pads TAMPA - (eBay.ca item 180270860667 end time 02-Aug-08 17:58:23 EDT)
They are for ball hockey and I needed to upgrade the size as I was wearing 30" Itech X-Wing pads. I really liked the X-Wing's but thought I would try a set of RBK's as a Friend of mine bought a set and really loves them on ice. I was told that these ones might slide a little better on the floor for ball hockey. They are also 12" wide which is what my Itech's were so these are the only ones that I can find that are still made 12".
Oh well, guess I'll just have to see how they work out. There might be another set of these ending up on the shelves of Play It Again ... or I might sell them to my friend really cheap cause she seems to like them!

I've used mine for about 4 months now, and have yet to have any issues with them. It seems to be hit or miss as far as the quality issues people are experiencing.

Hi there
I own CCM V6 pads for several monthes. As I see there it is the same as RBK Xpulse 6.0. I also see that they are *not so good*. Anyway, ho do you guys strap them?
Which strap is loose which is thight? I experimented a bit with strapping but still can't find comfortable position. I also wear RBK pro knee pads and I removed thigh guards because it goes under my pants almost every time I get up.
Can you suggest me the way to strap this pads?

I have the RBKs as well. It took me a while to figure out what was comfortable as they're my first of pads. Let's say that by now I've figured out that, for me, loose up top and a little tighter as you go down. I also use the RBK knee protectors and took off the thigh riser for the same reasons. There are the two straps that go around the knee, I removed the higher of the two so now I have one strap around the knee that's rather loose. I find that allows for better rotation going down, since those knee pads are a tad bulky. Next is the calf strap, second to last hole in the strap seems fine. Then the ankle strap I have on the last hole in the strap, but those seem to have streched out a bit since I wore them rather tigh when I started. Of course the strap under the skate at the last hole and the toe ties. The pads are loose and floppy, but stay in position just fine since the toe straps hold them in place. Do some movements at home and see what seems comfortable making slight adjustments along the way. I might even suggest starting with them very loose and then tighten the straps slightly as you go. Hope it helps..

Thanks Jaxis.
That's the actually way I tried to adjust my pads: wear it in home together with skates, pants and knee protectors and go down in butterfly and up and then experiment with straps.
But I have never tried to loose 2 top knee straps because I think it will reduce my movement ability (I mean skating, movenet in stance). I always use it quite tight. Will try as you suggest.
I don't quite unerstand about 2 bottom straps (which goes under skate and thru skate heel). Do you wear it loose as well?

When I began wearing the pads, I wore the top straps too tight and ended up ripping one out of the pad. As I fooled around with the straps I found a bit of floppiness on the knee area increased my movement, allowed for better rotation and gave some room for the RBK knee pads. As for the bottom straps, I forgot, I only use one. I was putting the heel strap thru the heel, but found it better to use the heel strap as the under the skate strap (using the last hole in the strap) and not using the other strap at all. I have that taped up and under the pad. Otherwise it rubbed against my wheels and acted like a brake and pitched me forward and I'd fall. Also, the inside shin padding is velcroed in and can be adjusted. I pulled them up and reattached them to the outside leaving me less bulkyness in the rotation and helping the pads lay a bit flatter. Try adjusting the pads as you're down in the bfly to where you want them to be in that position, then get up and see if that's comfortable.

Thanks Jaxis!
I tried to strap the way you suggested and it works great. I don't reduce my moving/skating ability at all but my butterfly become better. I strap only bottom spraps semi-tight (which goes under skates) and all other straps losse (the upper the looser). It works perfect!
