If anything this is an issue with a certain batch
One of my goal coaches bought a set stock and has had no issues with them. THis was months ago, last I heard.

Might as well be Nicaragua and DR cause all this sounds like is an ad for front row sports customer service.

i am also not impressed with nikebauer
last year i ordered a pair or nikebauer XIX skates that were EE because i have a wide foot and they didnt even come in so i had to just buy some off the shelf that were too thin for my foot but i got them heated up and fitted so they are working pretty good for me and also i hate their XX sticks... broke 3 in about a month...wasnt impressed

Are you sure they weren't the XXX sticks you broke? Because the XX is known for its lasting durability. I know one member here has had one for over a year...

People have had both break on them, with apparent frequency. But that's basically true of every single goalie stick made.

Sorry if I missed it but what size were these pads? How tall are you? Did the store give you a full refund?

This is too bad, as my set of custom SE-2's are absolutely flawless in their construction. Not a stitch is out of place, even after five months of use. This gear reeks of quality! Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe that Bauer had a saddle maker in North America doing their work before it was sent overseas. Now who ever that was, they knew how to sew together a pair of pads.

I've had mine for over a year now too. I do quite enjoy the durability.

And all sticks break. I think people jump the gun too quick when they say that something isn't durable because they broke it in a few skates... it all depends on what level you play, who you play with, how you play with your stick, etc.

...and sometimes, you are just unlucky and get a weak one.

Thats true. I've had about 8 ccm h10s and I've had two take most of the brunt of one season then had two break in three days, 1 in a week, and the last 3 ended the season/summer hockey.

Same with the TPS sticks I use now.

But I do still have a bauer supreme 7000 stick from way back when thats still kicking around. That things a tank.
