Nike Bauer 195's leg pads.

Recently, i bought the 195's nike bauer leg pads. I bought them at front row sports in thorold, near niagra, which is a great sports store.

I have 1 thing to say about these pads. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. If you are planning to buy these pads, i highly reccomend you change your mind. After the buying the pads, the next night i went on the ice for a 1 hour session with my goalie coach. When i got home though, i was eager to try them on again. And so i did. 2 straps ripped just by using them in the house, et alone the ice. No bigge, i told myself. My mom sowed it up for me and the next night i went on with them.

That night, i think i spent more time adjusting my pads then actually working.

They were the most uncomfortable pads i had ever worn, and no matter what i did, i felt like htey were to loose and too tight at the same time. Not only that, the straps ripped again, and another 2 ripped as well. Then, when it seemed the worst was over, the string that was attaching my skates ripped on both pads.

After taking them off, i had a combined 6 straps ripped, they became heavy from water and i had 3 blisters.

In 1 hour.

The next day we drove back to niagra and traded them for a set of RBK's premier series II.

Anyway, the pads were terrible, and i DO NOT RECCOMEND THEM.

But if you want to hear some good things about them: My butterfly was huge. I could slide like crazy. The pads were my size, and there were no sizing problems or anything like that.

If you want to avoid trouble, next time you see a nike bauer salesman, yell "Stick to making player equipment" that way he wont sell you the pads anyway.

I want to thank front row sports though for trading the pads for me without any hassle, and if you goalies are ever in niagra or thorold, ask around for front row sports, they are amazing.

P.S. Sorry, i have already returned the pads, no pictures.

You'd have a hard time convincing me to trade my Supreme SE's for anything.

But maybe the fact that he said NO PICTURES in his original post might have been a hint. Just a thought
