Brian's DX2 Blocker & Demon Trapper Review

This is my second review: Brian's Dx2 Blocker & Demon Trapper.

Specs:
Old-NHL sizing.

I took up ice hockey this year and wanted a nice set of equipment that will last me at least a few years. Since I would only be playing beer league, old-NHL sizing was an option and most places have them on clearance. I like the styling of the gear, but would have preferred a base colour of white.

Blocker:
Not too much to say. Very sturdy and protective. The shots don't hurt and I am happy with it. Has shown some considerable wear on the palm, but that is from my stick which was really rough and was essentially cutting the fabric.

Trapper:
Not too heavy & fits well. I have slightly smaller hands and this glove seems to fit me well. It is protective & I don't get bad stingers with this glove. It was very stiff when I bought it and I am still trying to get it to my liking. Has shown no signs of wear after 17 games.

Looks: 7/10
Protection/Fit: 9/10
Performance: 9/10
Durability: 10/10 (17 games experience)

Overall: 9/10 Very protective and perform well. Would purchase again, but need to dedicate time to breaking in the glove.
