Nike Bauer One95 set

hey guys i got these pads about a month ago and decided to finally throw up a review. they are White weave, White Weave, Gold weave, Black weave. They are 36+1 but i wish i would have bought them a little bigger coming from a set of 36+1 ps1. they are the Dukes mods with the extra flexy option.

Pads
First time on the ice i noticed that these pads slide very well. the pads feel very natural right out of the box and now ive played with them for a little while they are still wonderful.

The glove
out of the box it was terrible, but thats a usual until gloves are broken in. when i first played with it i remember thinking damn im going to have to buy a new glove cause this one is killing me. however after about 5 ice times with it, the glove was feeling soo much better. now i love this glove it is a little small coming from a illegal tps summit. but thats expected. the glove feels very natural to me now and i can honestly say that it is my favorite glove ive ever used. Cons are the thumb plate is a little long and sometimes i feel the plate on the back of my thumb joint. also the glove as you can see in the pictures doesn't seal to the ice to cover the puck, however i have had no problems with it so i would say dont worry about that.

The Blocker
like many have said in their reviews this blocker needs to be broken in. which was very weird at first but it gives you that personalized feel. the blocker is still not fully broken in for me. my pinkie and ring finger feel stressed while playing the puck which is weird. if you do have very large hands this most likely wont be the blocker that you want. the index finger is short but the rest of the fingers are ok.

so if you have any questions just let me know.

I want to get nb's and right now I have 32" p1's. I want to up asize and maybe add a +1. should a 33"+1 fit me or are the sizing one NB's different then rbk. I am also wondering if I should get 0ne95's or cuz i'm rapidly growing should I get one75 and save up for the next set of pads?

yea rbk's run an inch bigger and side by side comparison of my two sets, the rbk's knee placement are an inch higher.

as for the blocker i talked to scott at dukes today and he said that for his blocker it took a long time to break in an the palm of the glove and fingers would eventually stretch it self out

Nice Set!!

Thanks for posting the pics!! I am going crazy waiting for my set of NB's to come in. They won't be in till SEPTEMBER and I ordered them in JUNE!!!! AAHHHH!!!!!

Anyway, I am getting 35+1 (Same as my Bauer Supremes were). The color combo is White Jenpro, White Weave, Royal Weave, White Weave. Should look sick.

Again sweet pads my friend hope they work out great for ya!

yea i like them alot just played another game tonight and i don't have any complaints just that i wish they were 37's not 36's oh well. they aren't too flexible but they are what i like im sure they will be very flexy once ive had them for a while. i noticed that when i got them they were as flexible new as my old broken in rbk ps1's so they are decent. also they are very nice i love them.

Size?

Your saying you wish you got 37's right? I was just curious what your ATK is since your in a 36 right now? Mine is 17.5 and I ordered 35+1 since that's what I had in the Supremes.

Hope I am not like you and wishing I went a size higher. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Are One95 knee stacks firmer than RBKs or are they generally uncomfortable at first?
and would you recommend that I go with 36+1 seeing that RBK 35+1 fit me perfectly
