thanks to Todd at Bauer...perhaps some of you have seen some of the stuff already, but here is a pretty good look at the pads/gloves

The wrist back cuff on the catcher looks odd. I'd like to see pics from the opposite angle to have a look at it.

Any pics of the back of the pads ?

This color combo look great with this graphic.

the side view of the blocker looks weird, maybe its just the picture but it looks like the front of the blocker dips down a little bit.

Anyone notice the T in the pocket has an odd design to it? Is it for looks or is it supposed to have a purpose?

The back of the glove almost looks the same as the Old Vapor xxx but the front has a new look. All in all this pads look great. Looking forward to seeing these in action.

I think it ruins more or less the aesthetic of the glove.

hold up! when did these come out. i have never heard a single thing about them. they look sweet though. i cant believe i missed these pads!

Update: ok i did a search on google for these, nothing. Searched goaliestore.com for these, just this thread. where the hell did this come from? how did any of you know there was even gonna be a vapor 60, let alone get pictures of nearly unheard of pads? i just am kind of confused that you guys don't seem surprised and that you all sound like you know that these pads were around. please somebody explain. And also why is it vapor 60 or X:60. seems like they skipped 40 and 50

40 and 50 are for chumps! 60 is where it's at!

These aren't exactly "out" yet, they wont be available for human consumption until after Christmas. Seriously though, if you're surprised everyone knew and that people already have some idea about them...welcome to GSBB

ok, so a couple things you guys mentioned I think I maybe can clear up...

The pocket

If you see the part of the T that kinda flares out, just imagine where the puck is most likely to land in the pocket, so adding some more material there will give a greater surface to displace the impact in a legal, shallower pocket. Necessary, IDK, a nice idea, sure.

The Blocker

The board has a somewhat concave face, and the outside rises slightly down the length of the blocker toward the middle, sloping back down toward the bottom. This is reminiscent of the Reactor 5 blocker(think Manny Fernandez). The thumb guard also reminds me of the same R5, it has a nice feel, the actual thumb on the palm of the blocker sits underneath the thumb pad.

The Pads

sorry, no pics for the back...pretty standard stuff on the back and sides.

Is it an open leg channel D?

I love the look of these. The graphics are spot on and are different than anything on the market atm.

The pads look a lot like the last generation of the Supremes. The graphic is obviously different but the pad geometry looks the same.

I really thought the same exact thing about this blocker as soon as I saw the pictures. It really looks like the R5 blocker. I absolutely loved these blockers... Can you give any info about how flexible the leg pads.

I really like the general overall shape of these pads... even though i play a new style but like the old styled pads (shin rolls I.E. Original supreme pro pads were my absolute favorites). I would like as much info on these pads as possible... I really like the direction these pads took which reminds me more of the r5/supreme pro pads, only flat faced. If these babies are flexible than I'm probably going to buy these.

The pads are pretty solid top to bottom with obvious flex at the breaks. they seem as though they will hold their shape pretty well. The pair I had in my hands I would describe as "springy" where you can push the pads down, and get the flex to go and the pop back when you let them go. The bottom knee break has more flex than the top knee break. It certainly seems like it will be better than the RX9 where the pad just has nothing holding it together. Some guys like the uber flex, but you can;t rely on the ad to last long term that way.

No pricing has been released yet, but you can expect to pay about the same as One95. These will likely come in about $100-200 cheaper on the pads and $200-300 cheaper on the set.

Think Velocity 3/DX2ish on the back, not RBK open style. Some customizations will be allowed, but I wouldn't assume the open chanel style is going to happen. We'll see.

Dana,

The shin cradle is in fact removable and can be adjusted for a variety of positions for different calf widths. So you can get a RBK feel with a slightly deeper leg channel.

I hope you don't mind me helping out in your forum.
