GSBB Member Only Benefits?

I did a search and found nothing.

Does Goalie Monkey have a 10% discount code for only GSBB members?

So far in about a month GoalieMonkey has given to GoalieStore members:

1 Set of Koho 700 Pro Equipment
&
10 GoalieMonkey Jerseys

I think they've done a great job, don't forget they are a business.

Great...when you grow up, open a goalie store and offer GSbb members 10% off. You'll be rich in no time!!!

There is a word in retail for these people. "Counter Pounders" they base their purchases on discounts and freebies, not custimers service.

This is why mom and pop shops fail and stores like Home Depot and Wally World flurish.

With the great customer service, fantastic communication and better prices than I can find locally I will continue to shop GM. Discount or not.

Not to mention if you read some of the threads and posts on here about GM where orders get botched up for some reason or another, GM always makes it right by the customer. I can attest to that as they made a simple mistake (to err is human, it happens) with one of my orders that they much more than made up for, for me.

Shoe store A sells Nikes for 50$. Shoe store B sells Nikes for 75$ but has someone there to help you get the right fit. I'm fine on my own, thanks. Great customer service is awesome but I'm not gonna pay that much extra for it.

Sort of agree with you, but sort of don't.
If you are a runner and buying those Nike's for high frequency use, there is much more to "fit" then "are my toes scrunched at the ends?".
You may pronate and thus need a more supportive shoe. You may need a brand with a bigger toe box for your wider feet, etc...

In your example, yes... $25 is a big difference. But if it's going to save you hundreds in Physio or Chiro or Medical bills.... a good fit and service is worth a bit extra.

Don't know about your experience with GM but they have gear cheaper than anywhere I have shopped...

I think he was responding to your "I miss Mom and Pop stores!" comment.

The reason that Wal-Mart, for example, is able to put smaller stores out of business is because it has a more efficient business model. I hear a lot of anti-Walmart b.s. but the fact is the market has chosen low prices over customer service -- nothing wrong with that.

True, but most people that are serious about something know what they want and what works for them beforehand.

All the gear I own except dangler and sticks have been bought from GM, and their customer service is awesome.
