WOW!!! That is a sweet deal. I am not sure I can offer you too much information but here goes.

Mine was an Olie Kolzig pattern and I LOVED IT. Lasted 13 months of playing twice a week in a men's b league. It was super light and I searched far and wide for another. I don't care for the brodeur model. The weight distribution seemed different than my Kolzig. I also hated the lack of curve and wasn't too sure about torching it to get the curve I like.

Thanks, I've always loved the Brodeur pattern since the old Heaton sticks so these would be perfect for me. Good to get some feedback. Thanks again. -Chris

Never, ever, EVER torch a composite stick.

I used to love the Brodeur pattern, but if you think that's straight, you should see the Roloson I'm using now - it's as close to straight as you can get without ordering Christian customs. Takes a little technical effort and strength to shoot well on the forehand, but I love the options it gives me for getting my stick involved in the play in unusual ways.

I've been looking for Belfour curves in the G12 all over. IF anyone has a source, please let me know.

I got mine today, I am not too pleased. It looks and feels as if only the shaft is synthetic.

Weight: They are heavier than the same foam core Broduer h10 with tape. Plus the balance feels way off, very top heavy.

Curve: the curve is different on both sticks, and is much flatter than my h10 - but nothing can make my shooting worse than it is now. This is not the source of my unhappiness, but it certainly does not help.

Only one stick has the warranty sticker, I have ways around this - but I shouldn't need them; I did buy two new sticks. Both sticks are different sizes; the paddle on one is fatter than the other, as is the blade - significantly fatter - but neither is the same size as any of my other sticks (Ranford, Thibault Sherwood, Broduer H10, Thibault Christian) - the skinny one is skinnier and the fatter one is wider than the others. They are at least the same height.

And the logo paint is peeling off and bubbled on the front of them pretty significantly. I could not care less about this, but I know others do.

I am still waiting for my call back.

for $150 for a two pack thats worth it all day. the pro shop here (beaudins price gouge zone) has most wood sticks right around the $100 mark and the RBK 9k close to 300, to be able to get two composites for $150 may be something for me to look into. Does anyone know how these compare in weight to a NB Vapor XXX or XX?

Mike,

I am not familiar with the rules of the sub forums, but I did call first and left a message since I work until after your business hours. My main concerns were: that the lack of warranty sticker would not be an issue and if the differences between the two sticks were normal building tolerances.

Thanks,
Carmine
