I got to take a good look at the 9k pads and gloves the other day. And got to compare them to the pro editions.

The pads look amazing! They even had something the pros don't. I love the leather they added to the inner bottom of the pads. The parts of the calf flaps that get a ton of wear. Wish the pros had it. Of course, the nylon wasn't as good as the pros.

The gloves however left me very unimpressed. They felt really awkward and cheap. I haven't used them on the ice but just from trying them on, I wouldn't recommend them.

Also, be careful of the sizing. I compared a 34+1 on the 9k and the pro edition and the 9k was almost 2 inches taller. Either built wrong or marked wrong.

I went to my sports store to get a look at the 9k gloves and I have to agree with you. They didn't feel "cheap" but well they just didn't feel like a pair of gloves that could actualy last for more then a year and a half. I was going to get senior sizing so there is no chance of me out growing them. My sport store also didn't have the specific colours I wanted so I ended up getting the one95 pros for a great price. I just couldn't wait another week for shipping after Monday for shipping.

Yes, the pads are amazing! They are a great pad...when I first compared the Pro's to the 9ks I noticed right away that the graphic is slightly tweaked! The starting point of the swooshes are positioned lower on the pad.....It's not a bad thing but it's just something I noticed. But I did not notice the size difference but I guess I never really looked at that!

And yes the gloves look and feel very poorly made! I wish Reebok made them a little better! It almost seems as if they rushed it or didn't feel like changing anything but the graphics....also they almost feel cheaper than the 8k's which disapointed me but whatever I can live with a P2 as I was very pleased with my 8k!

Yeah definetly. I am very happy I got the one95's. The blocker Is a bit akward, but it feels like it is mad of amazing quality. I am still going to get the 9k pads when I get the money though!

I dont really like the one95 blocker and catcher!!I dont like the catch angle on the glove(it feels awkward) and the blocker is well.....meh!
But I do like the pads

And then theres Reebok.......I love everything about them!!!!

Yeah I know they are the same glove! Thats what I was trying to say which is why I said "They didnt feel like changing anything other than the graphic!" thus showing that 9k=8k+new graphic
